Motor Control Optimization
Job Description
As part of the TUM Hyperloop team, you will be working alongside motivated students and researchers on our site in Ottobrunn. Your responsibility will be to operate the propulsion test stand and optimize motor control of our linear electric
motor. Thereby, your daily workplace will be in our laboratory to record and elaborate on data related to electric machines.

Interior Realization
Job Description
As part of the TUM Hyperloop team, you will be working alongside motivated students and researchers on our site in Ottobrunn. Our Pod inherits a full-size interior, including floor and wall covers, seats, railings, lighting, sound and infotainment system and other various design elements. Your responsibility will be to turn our interior design into reality by creating real components. You will be responsible for the whole product cycle from CAD concept, manufacturing, assembly and testing.
Your Tasks
• Create manufacturing concepts to realize our current interior design
• plan and execute all steps necessary from design to real product, including manufacturing, integration and testing of all components visible for the passenger inside the pod
• search, contact and plan with different manufacturing companies from various fields
Our Requirements
• proficient CAD skills (preferably Siemens NX, including surface design)
• proficient manufacturing skills (woodworking, metalworking, prototype building, FRP-working, …)

Hyperloop Station Architecture
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Create an architectural vision of a future hyperloop station and its integration into the urban environment
- Create an in-depth understanding of passenger needs, journey and travel experience, future mobility options, and adjacent topics
- Develop a concept that seamlessly connects the passenger to all touchpoints in a hyperloop travel journey (from booking and check-in, to boarding, and further use of mobility options)
- Work closely with our leadership and technical teams to integrate your concept with hyperloop’s technological requirements and infrastructural constraints
- Visualize your concept, and make it understandable and experienceable for a broad audience
- Play a key role in our transition from a competition-winning student team towards a competitive research and development program, making hyperloop a reality
Profile Requirements:
- High degree of passion for architecture, urban design, transport, and infrastructure
- Experience in the field of architecture, architectural visualization, or similar
- Proficient skills in architectural planning and visualization software, animation is a strong plus

- Work closely with our leadership and technical teams to conceptualize exciting new formats to visualize the hyperloop journey and experience for different stakeholders

Profile Requirements:
- High degree of passion for the art of visualization
- Experience in industrial design, 3D animation, visualization, or similar
- Open mind for technology and curiosity for passenger-centric solutions
- Proficient skills with relevant construction and visualization software (e.g. Keyshot, Twinmotion), animation and VR skills are a big plus

PCB Design
Responsibilities and Tasks:
– Design advanced PCBs (>= 6 layers) which are employed in the Pod which will travel through the tube
– Extend existing PCBs to accomodate for new features

– Soldering experience is highly appreciated

Interior Electronics
Job Description
As part of the TUM Hyperloop team, you will be working alongside motivated students and researchers on our site in Ottobrunn. Your responsibility will be to plan, integrate and operate all electrical systems inside the passenger cabin including lighting, sound system, ventilation, mechanism activation (door mechanism), sensor integration, human interfaces (GUI) and other systems.
Your Tasks
• Gather all necessary information from other subsystems on their electrical requirements
• Create an overview of all electrical power and data interfaces and systems in the cabin
• Realize and integrate the electrical system, including the acquisition of required parts
• Test the system to ensure safe and reliable operation (including demonstrations at events)

Exterior Shell
Job Description
As part of the TUM Hyperloop team, you will be working alongside motivated students and researchers on our site in Ottobrunn. To give our Pod a more exiting and interesting appearance, we develop and build an exterior shell, consisting of large (2mx2m) FRP panels. Your responsibility will be to turn our exterior design into reality by creating real components. You will be responsible for the whole product cycle from CAD concept, manufacturing, assembly and integration.
Your Tasks
• Create manufacturing concepts to realize our current exterior design
• Plan and execute all steps necessary from design to real product, including manufacturing, integration and testing of all components visible for the passenger outside the pod
• Search, contact and plan with different manufacturing companies from various fields
